Still coming soon

Still coming soon.
A few things have happened the last month or so to slow things down. Originally this site was meant to be up and running long before Christmas. In fact I had the idea to soft launch in early Dec and 'claim' the official start date as the winter solstice so it didn't look like one of those New Year things but then things happened. Firstly the car broke down. Which was annoying because it had just passed it's MOT.
The diesel engine was a bit noisy when I took it for the MOT but I knew exactly what it was and after it passed first time I decided to fix it before Christmas when the vibrations from a wonky cam shaft pulley shook the wiring loose after taking photo's of deer in early december. Got the bit, it wouldn't go on properly, well it would but it wouldn't stay on and needed a new bolt which finally came on Christmas Eve. So I spent Christmas Eve fixing the car after about two weeks of either fixing the car or waiting for parts. While taking it apart I discovered two tyres had dangerous issues so they had to go on the todo list. Finally all together the car didn't go on Christmas Day anyway.
Since then the cost has been two tyres, two aux belts, and a belt tensioner with the latest of the belt and the new tensioner still to arrive. Lying on the floor replacing parts has left me a bit battered and walking the mother in laws shopping over in a rucksack in the snow hasn't helped either with the upshot that the site not only never got finished but I haven't spent much time outside as I'd like. Most of it has been in the process of doing other things when I've been feeling far from my best and not carrying a camera or doing a lot of recording of the things I've seen.
That's not to say I haven't seen cool things including a Kingfisher for the first time on a section of canal I'd never have expected to see one and spotting fox paw prints in fresh snow near their den in a place I hadn't walked in years and one day swinging past the place where nesting house martins started me on this journey all those years ago.
So in short, the site still isn't finished but will it ever be, and more content is coming it's just I've been so far off my game that I haven't spent any time enjoying life outside for about six weeks. More will come. I promise.
